However, Pahivouni Studios & Suites and its agents are not infallible, and errors and/or omissions may sometimes occur. Therefore, Pahivouni Studios & Suites disclaims any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, as to any matter whatsoever relating to this Web site and any links thereto and there-from, including, without limitation, as to the merchantability, non-infringement of intellectual property, or fitness for any particular purpose.

Pahivouni Studios & Suites does not warrant the accuracy, currency or completeness of the contents, including, without limitation, any information relating to prices or availability. Pahivouni Studios & Suites will from time to time revise the Contents and/or the products, services and resources described there-in and reserves the right to make such changes without any obligation to notify past, current or prospective visitors of this Web site.

In no event shall Pahivouni Studios & Suites be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, business interruption and loss of information) arising out of the use of or inability to use the contents, even if it has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

PRIVACY

Pahivouni Studios & Suites web site itself will only collect data from its customers when they willingly input their information (name, email, phone and message) at our contact form, in terms of a channel of communication between us and the customer. This data is kept for the customer’s reservation or for reservation history so that the customer’s reservation is facilitated. This data is stored in our server in the form of an email. Under no circumstances this data will be used for marketing or be made available to third parties.The customer will only be contacted in the grounds of the reservation and never again. This data will then be kept for the most 1 year before being discarded. If the customer would like to see that data which is basically a history of the emails he can contact us at info@pahivouni.gr with his request and the data will be sent to him. He has the right to delete the data by simply requesting it at the above email address or correcting it by the same means.

Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard Internet log information and visitor behavior information. When you visit our websites, we may collect information from you automatically through cookies or similar technology. There are a number of different types of cookies, however, our website uses them only for functionality purposes. These could include what language you prefer and your IP address so that we know your country. For further information, visit allaboutcookies.org.

The Pahivouni Studios & Suites website contains links to other websites. Our privacy policy applies only to our website, so if you click on a link to another website, you should read their privacy policy. For example we co-operate with beds24 for keeping a reservation system. If the customer is redirected to the beds24.com website to make a reservation then he should read their privacy policy here.

Credit card details are not stored in any form in our servers. The handling is done by beds24.com and they are responsible for all customer financial information and other privacy and protection laws. If you wish to know the exact processes, the information that is stored and how it is used you can read their privacy policy here or contact them directly at admin@mpksystems.com. Credit card details are used by our reservation manager to charge the card for deposit purposes and are kept in beds24 servers securely for a small amount of time after the end of stay of the customer and then disposed of. If you wish to know the exact duration please contact admin@mpksystems.com directly.

The information obtained from beds24 that the user has given willingly to fulfill his reservation – these can include credit card details, names, addresses, IP addresses, email addresses and boat arrival information – are not stored in our servers and is not shared with any third parties. They are used solely for the purpose of the reservation of the customer. This information is always made available to the customer every time a reservation confirmation email is sent from Pahivouni Studios & Suites.

RESERVATION TERMS

Rates and occupancies

Rates are quoted per room, per night, Normal occupancy,  Max occupancy, the minimum stay per night, as stated in room’s description, and include all taxes except the Climate Crisis Resilience Fee 1,5€/room/night. Extra persons up to maximum occupancy are charged according to the dates booked and vary per person, per night, based on the room’s specification. The exact amount of the charge is made available to the customer at the time of the reservation for simplicity reasons and to reduce clutter. Single occupancy is possible but there are no special prices available, reservation prices are charged according to the room’s Standard occupancy. Please contact our accommodation for group prices (over 3 rooms).

All Junior Suites (and Front) are equipped with a double bed. This room type serves people that sleep together. If visitors decide to sleep separately, then the wall built-in sofa bed must be made and there will be an extra charge that matches the rate for an extra person because the room is then considered to be a 3 persons room. The extra cost covers linen and its changes according to the room’s policies.

Deposit

All reservations require a 30% deposit of the total cost. It is payable during reservation using credit/debit card. You can also use bank transfer after the reservation process. The room is reserved for a limited time until the transfer is completed. This time is clearly stated at the reservation email or given to the customer by the reservation means of communication. When inquiries are made through email and during the time of those email inquiries no rooms are reserved or are implied unless explicitly indicated by our reservations manager.

Children

Children more than 5 years old are welcome. Children less than 5 years old cannot be accommodated due to many reasons. We mean no disrespect to families but Donoussa is a very remote destination with no baby care, no hospitals, no pharmacy stores and infrequent boat schedules. Furthermore our accommodation is built on a hill with many steps involved so baby trolleys are unable to approach. Steps can sometimes become dangerous for injuries especially to children playing. Please note that there are no baby cots available. Finally, families with babies or small children usually need a kitchen to prepare meals for them. Our rooms are not equipped with such kitchens, only kitchenettes for the preparation of small and fast meals. Please look at the pages of our rooms where more details are detailed on what the kitchenettes of our rooms can offer.

Children more than 5 years old can stay for free when they do not occupy any extra bed of a reservation. That means that a family of 2 adults and a child of 5 years old will pay for a room of 2 adults only if the child will sleep in their bed. If the family decides that the child will sleep in an extra bed (where this is provided) then the child will be charged as an extra adult.

Minimum stay

The minimum stay for any reservation is 3 nights unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Pets

No pets are allowed (dogs, cats etc.) in our acommodation.

Unannounced visitors

No more people than those agreed intially at booking time are allowed to stay in any room in our accommodation. If any violation is discovered for any reason (e.g. appearance of a sudden guest for the already staying guests, invitation for third party guests to stay in the accomodation etc.), the management may cancel the reservation of existing residents entirely and evacuate the room by legal means in accordance with the Article 8 of law 1652/30.10.1986 (FEK 167 A’). In order to avoid such circumstaces, unpleasant for the management and guests, it would be prefereable that the management is informed of the individual case or incident (e.g. sudden visitor of already staying guests) and finding an agreement on the matter so that legal settlement is avoided.

Check-in & Check-out

During high season periods (determined by boat schedules – usually after the beginning of June) the check-out needs to occur by 11.00 am

Check-in and check-out are almost always based on the arrivals and departures of boats.
Boat of arrival/departure information is a requirement and always requested during online/phone reservation.
At every arrival we are always waiting for you at the entrance of our accommodation at the time you have informed us during your reservation. However, if you do not arrive at or depart from our accommodation by boat (eg arrival from/departure to another accommodation on the island) then the check-in and check-out are arranged with the customer based on the availability of the accommodation. Also if you wish to delay your check-in time after your boat arrives please inform us.

Parking

If you come by car or motorbike you can park just below our accomodation on the roadside as long as you do not disturb the road traffic (it is minimal in any case). Alternatively you can park in the municipal parking lot of the island located in the port, about 200 meters away from our complex.

Breakfast

We do not provide breakfast yet, unfortunately, but you can order breakfast from your room and it will be delivered directly to you from a nearby bar/cafe (not included in the price of the reservation).

PAYMENT

Payment/Deposit by credit card

You can use your credit card to pay your deposit of your reservation during your checkout. Please note that your credit card is not charged at the moment of your reservation. It is usually charged minutes after or in some cases it can take a few days. The moment of charge depends on certain factors and is done at the moment that all of these factors have been met. These include filling out missing reservation information from the customer such as missing card details, missing boat timetable etc. or our organisational arrangements, banking difficulties etc.

All major credit cards are accepted such as Visa™, Mastercard™, American Express™, Diners Club™, Maestro™,Discover™, UnionPay™.

CANCELLATION POLICY

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation charges of a reservation with deposit paid:
– 21 days before arrival: Free (deposit return)
– From 21 to 7 days before arrival: charge 30% of total stay value (deposit withheld)
– From 7 days to the day of arrival: charge 100% of total stay value (full amount minus deposit charged to your card)

Cancellation charges during your stay:
– If you decide to leave before the end of your reservation, regardless the reason, the full amount of the reservation will be required. (full amount minus deposit charged to your card)

CHANGES

Changes can be made up to 3 days before the arrival date for free (based on availability) and refer only to the same set of reservation days. If the change concerns a reduction in the days of the total stay, the reservation is considered a cancellation and the total payable amount of the reservation will remain the same as the original reservation.
The deposit will normally apply to the new reservation.
If there is no availability, then the charge follows the above cancellations table.

NON-SHOW

The fee for non-show in every case is 100% of the value of your stay
